Kabuki is a traditional form of Japanese theater. It was founded early in the 17th century by Okuni, a shrine maiden who brought her unique and lively dance style to the dry river beds of the ancient capital of Kyoto, and over the next 300 years developed into a sophisticated, highly stylized form of theater.
Kabuki is a traditional Japanese form of theater with its origins in the Edo period. Kabuki, in contrast to the older surviving Japanese art forms such as Noh, was the popular culture of the townspeople and not of the higher social classes.
Kabuki plays are about historical events, moral conflicts in love relationships and the like. The actors use an old fashioned language which is difficult to understand even for some Japanese people. They speak in a monotonous voice and are accompanied by traditional Japanese instruments.
This post is to point out to Zofo that Kabuki is indeed a Japanese Art form .
I first read about it in one of my favourite books . Memoirs of a Geisha. And Geisha are most certainly Japanese.
Have a good day all.

Kabuki
What is it about this word ? I dont know. I just like the way it sounds huh ? Kabuki ..
Its a traditional form of Japanese theatre in case you were wondering . Which I'm sure you were.
Watched Trainspotting a couple of days back. Yesterday actually. Tut.
Depressing movie. I dont know how someone called it 'outrageously funny'. Indeed. Whoever it was had one morose sense of humour.
Last few days at work . Feel liberated. It wasnt an order. It was a thought.

Begone, ye beast..
Read this ad in the Bangalore times this morning,
If you have termites , call (some number) .
We use scent-free and hassle free pest control.
And whats more , we kill those white beasts..
Egads.. Whats more .. they kill those white beasts.
Vexed... Terribly..
Quit my job as copy writer for Phase 1 . Now on to Phase 2 (groan).
Been terribly busy finishing up work here and am also on the lookout.
Birthday came and went. Am now 21 .. Legal now everywhere in the world.
For those of you who called me and all .. thank you kindly.
For those of you who didnt , dont expect a call from me on your birthday.
Then again .. maybe you can ..
Damn .. Sometimes being a good person works not in my favour.
