Typical Day at Koshy’s (Part I of many)

Amount of time spent there : 1.5 hours.

Number of people one waved at connected to theatre : 3.

Number of people one waved at not connected to theatre : nil.

Number of times one made racially discriminatory / politically incorrect statements : several.

Number of times one made Chippy agree with one that one’s feet look gorgeous : 7.

Number of times one made Chippy agree with one that one’s new bag is gorgeous : 4.

Number of times one laughed loudly and most un-lady like : innumerable .

Number of times we used hand sanitizer : 3.

Number of things we did / said together which proved existence of some strange psychic connection : 2.

Number of times either one of us left to use the bathroom : nil (surprise , surprise!)

Number of times either one of our ‘concerned’ mothers called to find out where we are and how much longer we intend on being there: 1.



Orders : 2 plates of smilies (twice ) ; one black coffee , please.



Bitch , bitch , bitch , laugh , laugh ; say not so nice things about people and laugh some more.



Amount of time spent having serious conversation (not bitching) : 14.6 minutes which included conversation about not-so-dead goldfish.



-That goldfish is dead , Chippy.

-Where? Turns around to look at fish tank

-That big fat one. Its not moving.

Both stare at fish tank for several seconds.

-There , Dee . It just moved.

-Yeah. Maybe it was sleeping or something.

-Don’t make statements like that . Poor thing. Its not dead at all.

-Yeah. Sorry.



Time spent arguing over how to split change and how much to tip : roughly 4 minutes.
